    Similar to my problems...ended up having to replace the PCM power relay...not sure if I can reinstall my chip now, once bitten and all that. good luck

    Fuel Injection Module on a 7.3L? I hadn't heard of that. My problem has recurred, and now the truck died in traffic with a load of lumber. I have tried two new CPS, remove chip, etc. Gonna hafta bite the bullet and get the service dept in on this. When the dealer kills your batteries...

    OK, here's an update: took out the chip took out the 10K mod truck started fine all weekend. It was cloudy and cool. Today the truck is sitting in the sun. Wouldn't start -mad ...until I opened the windows and let the breeze cool off the interior! I gotta loose wire or harness...

    Mike, I think that the tach diagnostic only applies to 2002 and up trucks. My Y2K tach does not move when cranking.
