    Yeah I am back up in chico..FINALLY putting the HPOP in...haha...I installed it without the springs following some advice from some other guys so i guess I'll see what it does over the next week and if need be I'll put them back in. Unless anyone sees the possibility of this doing any damage...

    I am installing a new HPOP in my truck...for anyone that has done this: The little springs in the oil supply fittings (im guessing might be for drainback)...should I put them back in or just leave them out? They look kind of restrictive but I dont want to mess with drainback issues everyday...

    97 mirror upgrade

    me too...plus the blind spot is quite big...not to mention i think it looks a little goofy....just my opinion. Are you trading out the electric paddle mirrors or do you have the manual metal ones? They have the goose neck mirrors too. -Casey

    '92 7.3 Turbo IDI...Fuel Filter Light

    My neighbor has the above listed truck....Fuel Filter Light came on today...He changed the fuel filter...its still on....I think he said that as he accelerates the light glows brighter... I really know very little aboutthe details of the IDI...Any advice gentlemen??? Thanks, Casey

    Manual hub problem

    If the hubs are locked the transfer case is spinning too and they are chain driven (so I was told)...So if you are talking about he noise you hear if you are coasting with the hubs locked going down the road....I would bet its the transfercase, and thats normal. -Casey

    Well I got the new seal in. Check the diff. vent and its clear, no blockage...however in my race against beating light last night, I think I installed the seal backwards!! If I remember correctly the "oil side" should face the bearings NOT the differential...For some reason I'm remembering now...

    The side of the seal marked "Oil Side" should face AWAY from the differential, not TOWARD the differential, right?? Thanks, Casey

    Will check the vent tonight when I replace the seal...My only thought on that is that why would it keep blowing out the NEW seal rather than the stocker on the other side?? Jim- This seal is the same style as the ungraded one from Ford and as I understand it a good solid seal...I got another...
