    Matching Parts

Sorry, looks like the answer was given. Last response was from a different airport that loaded slowly and I couldn't see the other responses.

    Matching Parts

The third row seat won't fit in the pick up, neither will the inside spare tire carrier. Were you wondering about anything in particular?

    installing an air intake?

The Airaid is what I use. Easy install, no dealer squawks. Although they did ask me to remove the Banks programmer if they were to work on the vehicle.

Heads up on removing your spare tire.

I keep my spare in the stock location with no problems at all. It never gets dirty.

    Jotto Desk installed

I have to get off work to get back so I can snap the shots. CHP, thank you for the offer. WD40, we have PSD Super Duties. What could possibly cost too much?

    Jotto Desk installed

The Jotto Desk does have a removable desk, or you can remove the entire up-right post. Right now the desk is swiveled over the center console, so out of the way. And I verified with my co-pilot that the up-right post is out of the way of her left leg. There are handles on threaded rods...

    Jotto Desk installed

So I received my Jotto Desk and accessories for the X and completed the install. I went with the Jotto because the Ram Mount said it wouldn't fit with the Limited duct under the front passenger seat. So now I have my lap top on an articulating desk that has holders for my PDA and cell...

    08' Front End on Excursion

I saw one in the U.P. drive by, it looked very nice. He was hauling a car carrier so it probably came in handy.

    Under-utilized forum

I purchased the Oilguard from Oilguard and was very happy with the sale. I had been watching it for some time and noticed the price went up. On the installation page the instructions actually included a price, the old price! I called them to point that out and was given the opportunity to buy...

    Under-utilized forum

I went back and forth for quite some time between the Oilgaurd and the FS 5000 (whatever it is) and just couldn't get past the return in the drain plug. The Oilguard return is to the oil filler tube and that is what convinced me. Very nice kit, well put together. Easy install. I mean it...

    WHAT RELAY??

Or you can use a continous duty solenoid, very heavy duty given your run to the back of the vehicle.

It actually seems that the further away we get from the final build year that there will be more questions and more posts. I don't even have 12,000 miles yet so I will have lots of questions. I wouldn't have 2WD struts on my 4WD lift gate if not for all of you. My noggin appreciates that...

Hey Snowman, I understand your feelings about the by-pass. That's why I went with the Oilguard bypass filter. I'm still stocking up on the Fram filters though, good through 06-24-07. If I ever get this beast broken in I will be using the eight gallons of synthetic Rotella I purchased.

New Addition to the Mod Family....

Whose light bar are you running? The full width look is nice. Just four tabs for lights?

Thank you for the K&N oil filter suggestion, the shopping I was referring was wiping out the Checker/Schucks stores with their 2 for $7.00 special. I think I have the next dozen oil changes taken care of and am not stopping now. Fram filters in case you were curious. I have to remember...

Did all the X owners take the summer off? I haven't seen new posts for some time now. I have been shopping for oil filters and just got my front receiver hitch. Anyone out there?

    lookin for alight bar

That light bar, and even the picture, is from Randy Ellis Design. This may be a knock-off/rip-off. Be careful.

    lookin for alight bar

I have the KC bar with four lights and am very satisfied with it. I purchased it on-line for around $200.00 (KC's web site must use list pricing) and I know there is a similar bar from Randy Ellis Design (I think that is the name) priced similarly. Bolts right on with no drilling and factory...

    Rear hatch struts

I got mine at the powerstrokeshop.com, installed them, and now have a matched set for any 4x2 owner who doesn't want to reach up so far... My 6' 3'' noggin really appreciates this mod.

    FS-2500 bypass filter system

I purchased the Oilguard recently, and until then they had the old price listed on the 6.0 installation page. Although they had the correct current price listed elsewhere on the site they still honored the old price, so I bought it on the spot. Very nice of them. Sorry I couldn't alert any...
