    yeah it should come out pretty easy like dave says.. mine was pretty tough when i cleaned it because it was so coked with soot... just be patient and don't break anything lol...

    yeah you can find some good deals on nice units if you stay patient.... i would go ahead and check the fuses since its relatively easy to do... I too don't think its a fuse because you're still hearing some noise but its worth a shot..... pull the unit out of the dash and take a look behind...

    what he said as far as that goes.... and for the delete.. if you want something permant then you will spend some coin but get you the "best" delete possible... innovative sells a good kit along with some others... FDCP out of florida sells a good kit.... but im going to be purchasing one...

    delete it.. but buy a kit that can be put back to stock if need be... there is a couple good ones on ebay that will sell for under 300 just make sure it is either from the mkm customs guy or the guy from illinois (River City Diesel is who that is)... it is a direct bolt on kit.. you don't have...

I hope that keeps it form happening.... does anyone know where I can get a reasonable price on a solid up pipe... i keep seeing 200...

    I would say it's purely preference... if you wanna do it.. it prolly won't "hurt" anything cept your back loading and unloading :D, I don't think you would "need" it though... its like Big Rog.... it's all about the tires:thumbs.... on a lighter note.... WELCOME to SDD.com!!!

    nononono... lol don't built one... go to filter1.com or I think fleetrite.com and order you a wix 6637 filter... they fit right up to the 7.3Ls and are a great filter!! I think at filter1 you can get them for like 28 bucks... i bought 3 for all the 7.3L in the family for a totall of under 85...

    Do you tow much with it..... I was getting a "weird" noise too but mine was only under a good load (usually going up hill) anway I replaced my coolant bottle cap and that fixed it...

    had this happen to my dads truck.. he put JBweld in the locks... just used the remote to lock and unlock.... I played ball in memphis and this happend.. they broke into my dads truck and stole a video camera.... my dad wanted to come home (missouri) and rig the center console with battery...
