    Red, I was using two curved long needle nose pliers. I just picked up a pair of long hooked nail pullers that should work without me having to meet my fist again...talk about beating yourself up:D Did notice improved HP after the EGR disconnect again. FC.

    Zookie400, Do 04 F-350 SD have an injection cycle with the exhaust valve open for CAT after burn? If they do what happens when a CAT delete is done? Can the injection cycle for open exhaust valve be turned off?

    The primary noise you hear when a diesel running aside from the turbo when its going is the injectors or the actual combustion in the cyclinders? I passed a 350 today on the street with the car and noticed it was very quiet relative to my 350 it looked like a 04 0r 05.

    Lack of power

    DesertEagle50, Well I did not blow the truck up so it works. I drove around the freeway at 2:30AM testing this mod out. More Turbo whistle, kicks in sooner on the rpm cover and the tranny shifts smoother without engine warmup. Our temp is 45F in the evening which is not really that cold.

    Thanks for the feedback on the CAT delete. I was calling the Cat a Cat until my neigbbor told me that I was thinking gas and diesels have particulate filters. After I disconnected the EGR I did notice the turbo whistle sooner in the rpm curve and the tranny does shift differently now...
