well the VW tdi jetta has one touch al windows down
so since vw, bmw and audi are in bed with each other and ford has volvo, rang rover and aston martin and you would think we could find a module to work??????????? inexspesivley :dunno

there are modules...from ford...same as the one thats on the drivers
door...29 bucks is the common street price, im checking to see if i
can get it cheaper...but it STILL would be required for each window

the street is ebay & the internet in general...
try googlin' (FORD one touch down module) and see what you get...

im doing some preliminary checking now w/ a friend of mine
that has dealer/parts connections to see what my cost
is.

the mistake someone made was in telling me it was the OE
ford OTD module they were selling...made me wonder how much
FORD wanted for it...

this morning im told <by connected friends> the list price
for the OTD module is $7.56, and MY cost is $5.67...itll
take a few min. work to figure out how to wire it but 7 bucks
per window is cake walk compared to 29 per window.

thanks bush, i agree, 8.00 bucks is alot better that 29.00. i did do a search on google under automatic window module, and what i found was mostly add-ons to alarm systems that will roll your windows up & down when you set the alarm.

i sure wish i could find something like that here. i just spoke to my ser. mgr. today and posed the question. he said NOPE. fomoco gots nothing to do with that, it is controlled by the pcm. it would be aftermarket. so i went to aftermarket, they said a system costing of about $150 or w/ a remote/alarm style. cost on that he did not know...

not true youre service mgr is in correct...its done by a OTD module...
that for all intensive purposes looks like a relay w/ five wires comin'
outta it.

call your dealer parts counter...as for the OTD module of the year of
your truck...see what they say...then call your service mgr and
tell 'em the part number...and tell 'em to go get some product training

i did ask him if the parts counter would know. he said no. that it was an aftermarket issue. now maybe he doesn't have a clue i am just tellin it like he said. i too am going to do a little digging on the subject since upon reading the original post i wanted this setup as well. i'll report any findings.:sweet
