Whats amazing is the engine and tranny still intact. Its worth way more than interior and sheet-metal. I've heard of these trucks getting stolen just for the power-train.

the PARTS stolen are fenced easily...and engine & tranny have serial numbers
that can EASILY be traced.

look how many folks are doing headlight upgrades...or would like the
KR interior ?

As long as the engine and tranny are still good, I would look at this as a customization opportunity. Think of it, you could probably get the seats that you want and install them, (Maybe, Recaros, or big truck seats) You could get nicer carpet or floor mats, pick out your stereo, a new grill from all the choices ou there... The possibilities are endless.

I hate those stupid camera's watching everything, but not helping anything. In Dallas they have "red light cameras", they can and will send you ticket from a picture on a camera if you run a red light (whats next automatic speeding tickets-mad ). But if you have a real crime committed against you, that the city will not generate revenue from, "They can not do anything" . The people better start standing up for their rights while we still have some. :usa

well you asked for it....theres some CURRENT discussion of SPEEDING
cameras being set up on HWY 6, near coll. station & el paso -->

Texas DOT to Install Federally Funded Highway Speed Cameras

Despite the near-unanimous opposition in the state legislature to the use of speed cameras, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is moving forward on a proposal to deploy photo radar on state highways using federal gas tax funds.

sorry but it seams TOO MANY cops run radar instead of chasing down
REAL crime...and now this...what the hell are we payin' cops & taxes FOR...
more automation !?!

Man Sorry to hear about your baby...

Give it a few more years, it's becoming a battle of the haves vs the have nots. With our current load of garbage in office right now pushing for amnesty, I think it's about time to start playing cowboys and mexicans... :guns:

in 10 years it's probably not gonna matter anyway.

They may as well said, it will cost you $200 for him to show up, that is the cost to offset him out writing tickets.

The stupid cities think that cops are cashiers for the city, not to protect the citizens as property as it was in the past.
