    Power steering problem!

What atk said. It is important that the system gets flushed particularly since these PS pumps fail somewhat regularly.

    Power loss around 1700 RPM....

That is correct as far as the high pressure pump goes, there is a lift pump in the fuel tank. If the lift pump goes bad the HP pump will suffer for it.

    Help Needed 2000 Excursion

Pesky cam sensor failure perhaps. That is the first place I would look.

    6.0 no power

Easy check, pull the intake duct and check for lateral movement of the impeller and/or broken vanes on the turbo. The impeller may be floating and freeing then binding. Also may be a bad waste gate actuator sticking.

    Cold start

If you are still having issues with the cranking RPM, as it sounds like you are, check ALL of the connections, at the batteries, the starter and ground points. Also check for corrosion migrating down the battery cables, there may be a resistance issue. A voltage drop test at the starter would be...

    left bank (2, 4, 6, 8) not working

One bad injector shut my entire engine down. They can cause alot of grief.

    4x4 Front Hubs.

The most common failure I see with auto hubs is a broken vacuum line at the knuckle, second most common failure would be the vacuum seal in the knuckle, generally good for about 75k miles. The seals require a special tool to install easily and properly (though it can be done without but is...

When was your fuel filter last changed ?

LPOP/HPOP questions.experience with these is seriously needed

328k miles on that engine ? Don't be surprised if that LPOP is out spec. clearance wise. How is the condition of your oil ? Is it kept clean and changed regularly. If the LP is slow to climb I would get after the oil pump as it may be cavitating.

    doing ball joints

Be sure to pack the spindle bearings with wheel bearing grease before reassembly ! Also spend for the greasable ball joints and axle joints. Sometimes there is enough clearance to leave the zerts in the axle joints after assembly, sometimes not, if not grease them with the gun then remove the...

    Cold start

I don't know what kind temps' you have where you are atm but, the WTS light will go off before the glow plugs have actually heated the prechamber enough for a smooth reliable start. After the WTS light goes out count to 45-60 then crank it and see how that does for you. The glow plugs will be...

    Rotella vs Delo (15w40)

I have only ever put DELO in diesels, my own included and have never had an issue with it. I recommend it whenever anyone asks my opinion . I run 15w-40 from April/march to about sept. and 10w-30 the winter months. Alaskan winters are a bit cold to keep the heavy oil in all year.

    Help Needed 4x4 issues....

I cast a vote for bad axle u-joints as well. If one is loose/worn it will cause binding/grinding/noise issues.

    Question Camshaft float?

Well if the problem developed just after putting in a tuner.... do the math. I would suspect a tuner problem.

    smoky starting

No offense but, a ohm test is very unreliable on a circuit that requires volts/amps to pass. The smallest circuit you can imagine can pass an ohm test but will not be able to carry the current needed to power anything, particularly something as demanding as glowplugs. An easy test is to get a...
