if you disconnect the vgt actuator the turbo will eventually stick in that position and if you go to hook it back up it will be stuck and will have to be removed and cleaned.
order a new fuel pressure regulator kit.i comes with all the new stuff.sometimes the fule pressure reg. spring gets weak and will cause lower fuel pressure so i beleive that the kit is the best way to go instead of just a new seal.
the dieing thing could be from the high pressure oil pump is consuming all of the oil in the high pressure oilpump resivor before the low pressure pump can fill it up.this is usually caused by exsesive oil pump gear clearance.a new set of low oil pump gears might fix it.as for the od light...
it should.regulat it down to 125-150 psi.also check and make sure that you dont have any fuel leaks in the fuel return system.they are the rubber hoses that t off of the top of the fuel injectors.any kind of fuel leak will cause this engine to be dificult to start
take the hose off the fuel pump that supplies fuel to the pump and use 125 psi of shop air with a blow gun and apply the air to the line.there is a screen in the tank that gets stopped up,after you blow it off it will take some time to get the system primed but it should fix it.dont forget to...
if you can find the connector for the heater grid in the seat.unplug it and do a resistance test.more than likely the wire is burnt into where the grid is tucked into the groove in the seat foam.there not to exspencive and fairly easy to change.
