YAY! I got the WIF warning twice in 25 miles!

when you remove the dran plug on the HFCM, let the housing completly drain (takes 25 seconds or so).

    HFCM ?

the filter has done it's job, preventing those chunks from getting to the motor.

    Torqshift blues

you guys think this is good for your tranny? those are real expensive trucks your messing with there. if money is not an issue, carry on. when you loose your tranny, don't come complaining.

    REAR WINDOW GUN RACK?

in Canada you will be charged if you have your guns in the window like that for all to see them. cops would be on me like fly's on **** if i had my guns in the rear window. they must be concealed up here.

    Tow Command / Controller Question

modultaing amps to the trailer breaks while the truck is in antilock mode is as close as it gets to antilocking trailer breaks. preventing wheel lockup is antilock in my books. i wish my aftermarket break controler did that. when you go from a towing fully loaded heavy trailer to towing an...

    Tow Command / Controller Question

the best thing about the onboard ford trailer break controler is that when your trucks antilock breaks come on, the trailer breaks work in antilock mode also....no other trailer break controler does that!

    Oil change interval question

i change oil around 7500-8000 km which is 5000 miles. it can probly go longer between oil changes but i like to keep FMC happy considering there is a 5 yr warrantie on the motor. i keep all recieps for oil and do the oil changes myself.

    F-150's Are Tough!!!

nothing will be glued to the road when you have black ice under a snow covering. the only thing that will stick to the roads in those conditions will be a vehicle with studed tires, which is illeagle in most areas i know. bottom line is, if the roads are that bad...simply stay off them. i...

    F-150's Are Tough!!!

i can vouch for the strength of the F150 chassis. last december i was on my way on a 2 hr trip to my mothers place for x mas. my wife and i were in my 2003 F150 supercrew and we were driving in a terrible snow storm. on a large sweeping left turn the back end of the truck broke free and we...

Never had a FORD before...until now

put 500 miles on it before you tow anything with it for sure. leave the 6.0 stock and it will probly last longer than you own the truck. they have plenty enough power for pulling your trailer while in stock forum.

    New Truck!!

congrads! the new truck feeling is nice! i purchased the rust proofing package that the Ford dealership sold me on my 05. it is well worth the investment in my opinion if you drive on salted roads in winter.

Lets Talk Alarms and Remote Starters

i had my Ford dealer install a command/remote starter on my '05 F250 before i would drive it off the lot. it was worth every extra penny!

Fuel Economy of 6.0 vs 7.3

i get 18 miles/ US gallon and 21 miles/imperial gallon with my 2005 6.0 F250 while empty on the highway. this was figured out with a calculator and counting my km's, not on the computer. this is all with 12k km on the truck so far. the 6.0 is more powerfull, more eficient and cleaner burning...
