    2008 6.4 liter mileage update

    My truck has 43,000 miles on it and on a recent highway trip, I got 17.4 on the way down and 18.5 on the way up. Kept it at 65 and I don't have a bed cover (yet...just ordered one). City driving gets me 10-12, and towing the 5er gets me about 7.

    Just got back from a one day road trip picking up the truck. Drives very nice, plenty of power. Got 15.1 MPG on the first full tank driving in between 65 and 80 on the interstate. Will post some pics this weekend.

    I've driven over that bridge 100's of times. My aunt was taken to the hospital this morning via ambulance and found out she has a tumor on her kidney; they had to postpone her surgery tonight to make way for all the victims from the bridge collapse coming to the hospital. Unbelievable.

    If you're doing any type of towing guages are a no-brainer--that's almost unanimous advice on this site. I agree with BushPilot, aftermarket intakes aren't worth the money. I had an aftermarket intake on my 03 and ended up pulling it off and putting the stock one back on. There's lots better...
