    my truck was also leaking the past couple weeks. makeing my clutch slip like no tomorrow. found that the 4 torque head screws on the back of the filter bowl assm were loose. boggled my mind. haha

    ok right after i posted the internet died on me. figures.. the rubber boot on the driveshaft slip yoke is pretty squashed. I did measure both axels and the d50 is 13 inches from diff cover to the back of the yoke. the d60 is 14 inches (about) so yea i guess when i get some time im gunna take it...

    i did it about a month ago. not a noticeable diff to me, but the install was not hard, just a few new scratches on my four arm, usual. it might have a little more pep but not for sure

    just replaced vacume pump with a $100 unit from o'rileys sill does the same thing, rears lock up in graval but not the front. pedal is still the same goes to the floor slowly. he is sapose to take the truck and pull a 2 jeep trailer to go wheeling today for a big run this weekend..

    Brakes seem firm while truck is off, as soon as started firm pedal, slowly goes to floor. replaceed, rear brakes & drums, brake line, ebrake cable. rotors, pads, master cylinderx2 not loosing fluid. this is my friends truck, been in the shop all week help!!!!

    i replaced my clutch and fork about 2 years ago with a stock style aftermarket and now it slips and chatters. going to replace it soon. what clutch would be good for all around towing, dd, performance and durability ?

    that is tru wd40, replacing one or two things at a time, when i got the truck it had 108,000 on it with everything stock.156,000 now and i have replaced clutch, altanator, waterpump, batteries, tires, and a few other things. suspension is next, anybody have recommendations for springs and or shocks?

    broken leaf spring

    it must have happened at night a few weeks ago when i was hawling a heavy load on my 25ft gooseneck. since then i have noticed it rides a little different and sounds like something is sliding foreword when i slow down, im assuming that i found the culprit.
