You must have never driven when it is icy or the roads are snow covered...stock comes in handy there, also if you have Babies the stock program will let them pass an emissions check with flying colors.
I would recommend Nero 6 Ultra Edition. Does video capture can burn to CD or DVD also e-mail video or stills, copy CD's etc. Very good easy to use software.
Let my qualify my statement by saying that if you have an early/original TC in a 95 - 97. the newer TC are stronger and the lockup clutch surface area is much greater. You are correct Hoss in saying that it won't hurt the transmission, I agree, but feel otherwise with respect to the early...
:D Did any of them help to clear the black cloud that follows your truck?? ;)
I'm finding the Swamp babies burn smokes a lil' less than the OMG!! burn and the shift patterns/logic where it shifts to high and locks the converter sooner helps the trans temp in town and also has to help the...
"if you get real gumptious theres a couple things you could try"
You would have to get "real danged" gumptious to go to the trouble
My lazy be-tard simply un-plugged the EBPV, un-fastened the rod, and gutted the EBPV. So far so good (hope to heck I didn't just jinks myself) no...
You can do the mod with an automatic...BUT...you run the risk of ruining the Torque Converter as it was never designed to function as a clutch per say, it just doesn't have the surface area on the lock up clutch to act as an engine brake.
Rick "COB" ;)
Read this thread, it even shows a picture of where to unplug the EBPV actuator.

Not much compared to the oil cooler ;) ;) Do the HPOP res because it's easy to do but you still have a lot of oil in the cooler and oil galleys....bottom line don't sweat it or if you must...short fill with synthetic, start the truck, drain and refill with new to give the best chance on non...
"Oh and the flat spots are @ the bottom of the hills and they tend to be rather small."
And very crowded during said ice storm :roflmao :roflmao :roflmao
Dale,
I find both troublesome, for instance I want to get a section of 4" exhaust in a 45 deg. I can't find it on the web sites because a 97 F350 didn't have 4" exhaust. Of the two I do find AutoZone a lil' easier.
A shot in the dark but maybe the transmission/PCM is loosing the signal...perhaps the plug at the transmission needs a good cleaning and coat with a dielectric grease to reduce the chance of moisture interfering with the signals. The transmission is electronic and gets its shift inputs via the...
I used to do something similar all the time while autocrossing, except I used white shoe polish in a bottle with an applicator. The dynamics of the tire under load and at operating temperature are much different than cold and with out any side loading. Try marking the edges of the tread up the...
