Anybody know what it cost to have a transfercase rebuilt.

I know a rebuilt t-case goes for around $800-$1000. I don't know the cost of parts and labor to one. When mine t-case went out i bought a used MANUAL one from a used parts yard and converted my truck from electronic to manual. Got it for $350 with the linkage.

    Change your top end oil!

I agree with you guys completely. But what about removing that oil, say when changing from conventional to synthetic? Or is it such a minuscule amount compared to the pan that it doesn't even matter?

    Losing Coolant

To start off, My friends truck is a 2008 6.4 bone stock 70k miles. For a while now it has been losing coolant, over a period of time. in about a week or so it will lose around a quart. There are no visual cues like puddles on the floor when parked for a while, or a smell of coolant. Now i...

    Got stuck today

Eaton E-Locker makes a electronic activated locker, they're around $800 dollars. Well worth it in my opinion. Never had one, but rode in a truck that did. Seems like it would be easier to install and maintain (no leaks, no hoses, no compressor) and they're almost the same price.

Ranch Hand full replacement front bumper

i wouldn't mind that gap, because i plan on changing the front end over to a 05 anyway. A better question would be... would i have any interference from the header panel or the stock bumper mounts?

Ranch Hand full replacement front bumper

I got offered a deal for a used Ranch Hand bumper off of a 2006 superduty. Will this fit on mine? I know that the 05-06 had a bigger grill, will that be a problem?
