I know this has been talked about, but

the wifes durango gets 15 to 17 depending where she is driving (town or highway) my psd gets 16-18. better mileage, but it was more expensive to fill, not anymore! diesel is still 2.72, ethanol is 3.10. my burb gets 16, but we don't drive it because it is getting old.

I know this has been talked about, but

its now cheaper to drive my SD than it is to drive the wifes Durango!:sly

    How'd you have handled this??

not that anything I say carries any weight, but I would guess that someone who stands and watches, is as guilty as the ones doing the assault. good to hear that things are getting taken care of.

    Cold starting problems

I had the same problem, check to see if the glow plug relay is kicking in. I ended up running a manual switch for the glow plug relay. I also put a stancor contactor in after my third relay.

Glow Plug Trouble 0 degree weather!!

when the computer trips the ground, it will turn on the glow plugs, and the time it is on is controlled by the temperature sensor, and barometric pressure sensor. I believe. when they are both hot, the relay is in a neutral state, when the ground is set, the relay will trip because thats what...

Glow Plug Trouble 0 degree weather!!

the computer should kick one, I think the wire to the front to a ground, that is what should trip the relay. mine was doing the same thing, I ended up just running a switch, but also installed a stancor contactor, no problems except when 15 below. then the starter wouldn't even engage.
