    I noticed it last winter, and it's starting to do it again. Everytime I get out of my vehicle I get a shock of static electricity when I touch the door. It doesn't happen during the summer. Any ideas?

    Well, it's that time of year and it's starting to get cold. Driving to work in the morning before my truck is up to operating temperature, I hear a "whooshing" sound from the motor and my egt's rise. It stops when I increase the throttle. That's the egr valve closing right?
