    You are going to have to put this on a scanner & get some real time data,,, other than that its a guess on the codes ,,what you described I have only heard of once before,, If It happens every time , it may be in the filter,,,Get the codes if you can & go from there....

    Try running a lighter oil.. My wag would be the injectors are using the oil in the Resevoir, faster than the LPOP can work the colder , heavier oil... Some reading on the subject...Click me Scroll down to # 5 it talks about the LPOP....

    IPR instructions ....here.... If you take it apart, ignore the pic of the wrench on the threads, It goes on the small barrel... Are you sure that an injector o ring didn't get nicked during install?

    This is a hard one to figure out ! !

    If what you are saying is the go pedal stops working ,it may be the IVS (idle validation switch), or the TPS (throttle position sensor) the codes will tell you UVC (under valve cover harness) IPR(injection pressure regulator).....

    The IPR is most likely stuck closed & the PCM is estimating ICP ...Did you have the IPR cleaning instructions on hand when you did it?...If not , do you need them?...
