    Question about Chrome Stacks

    I have 5" mitres....I dont have any prob with water, I dont think you can get the clamps tight enough to hold water in them...I was concerned at first, but after a recent really good rain, I checked and it had all drained out (at least the way mine is set up)

    I am guessing from his avatar and those DIY 180's in his sig he isnt too worried about an exhaust brake :) :) :) might save a few degrees on the EGT's with it gutted too...downside is you risk an oil leak if you dont take care of the pedistal/EBPV push rod...oh, and it taking a week to warm up...

    yup...shes pukin' tightened the large nut on the side of the oil pan, hope that helps, will know more tomorrow... is there supposed to be an oring on the dipstick tube section that slides into the fitting that bolts onto the side of the oil pan? cuz I dont got one... havent had time to...

    powder metal rods...instead of forged the PMR's seem to have a breaking point of "about" 400 hp. but, if I am not mistaken, some early build date '01s might have forged rods (cant remember off hand, was it early build '00s or '01s?) you have to do a visual inspection to make sure of...
