    does your interior light work? also is the odometer working? if not check fuse #8 or # 9 cant rember which, if blown it will cause your problem. happens to me about every other washing of truck. Rob

    sorry dmerre89 my help did not help. does your tach read anything while cranking that will kinda rule out the CPS. i guess the glow plug relay did not fix the start. do you have acess to a scanner? if so get the codes and maybe it will help pinpoint the problem. Rob

    most engine operators manuals say NOT to prefill because of unfilterd oil but maybe unfiltered oil is better than no oil. no i dont prefill. Rob

    No, the bulbs are built into the gauge and can not remove. Gauges are autometer NV,kinda like the Cobalt but green.

    not aguring Dave but with it hooked up to the dash lights they dim but the problem is when the gauges are about right i cant see the dash lights. i thought a LED was kinda a regular light but get more efficent with less input and not as fragile as a filment bulb with a lot longer run time...

    what ohm resistor or pot or rhestat will work for dimming LED gauge lights? have a new set of gauges with LED's and are TOOOO bright. i hate to buy the autometer dimmer when i can do it my self. Thanks Rob

    97 fuel filter housing help please

    unplug it from the outside and yes the arrow is pointing to the right one. stand pipe is LEFT hand threads 7/8" crows foot to take out. i left mine in and just unplugged.i think the filter bottoms outs on the stand pipe and not the heater so if you want to remove i think you will be ok. Rob

    thanks Dave. I think they matter because the white is for the power to the light and the black is the ground for the light AND guage but not sure.i dont want to screw up a $160 for a brain fart. Rob

    the disk is the fuel heater. just unplug the 2nd on drivers side connector on the side of the housing as not to blow fuse 22(then no start). the connector should be kinda square. been running without my heater since november with no problems and i dont think you will have any either since...

    aftermarket trans filter

    which side should an external trans filter go on? should it be on the hot side before the coolers or the return after the coolers? wondering because my DIY trans filter(kinda like the dieselsite kit) is on the hot side before the coolers and it gets HOT and i can smell the paint on the filter...
