    Towing with the 6.7L

I have had great luck with my 6.0 as far as power is concerned. I did have to do injectors at about 120k, a tranny at 135k and the EGR at 145k. That was a bit pricey, but it pulls like a mule, and I beat it. I really think that the 6.0 is an engine that likes to be worked hard. Far be it...

    &%@#+ Jury Duty!!!!!!!!!!!

The judge has a boss. The boss can over rule him. To me it seems simple enough to accomplish. Or, screw 'em risk a fine for contempt and go to school. I have found that if you are a little older, they are less likely to care about you giong to school. I had that happen when I was in...

Think about this and your safety

Brian Bosworth worked his way through college, and after he graduated, he said in an interview that he would throw stuff in the cars to make them rattle, an extra bolt, a bottle, something. He was a loser then, and he was a loser in the NFL.

Question Is the 6.0 Junk ???

Obviously he is not smart enough to know that Ford did not build the 6.0. So far, the 6.7 has been doing far better then previous motors. Also, if I am not mistaken, I think Ford has built diesels far longer then even International.

Question Is the 6.0 Junk ???

I am at 146,000 miles on my 6.0. I have cleaned the EGR valve precisely, once. That was about 1000 miles ago. I did have to replace the radiator overflow, because it was cracked, and the most expensive was replacing a couple of injectors, the transmission, and a little front end work, though...

f250-Worst-Made Cars On The Road ?????

This is a classic example of "He who frames the question wins the debate" Consumer has a noted green bias, and that seriously effects how the grade a vehicle, and its performance. It always has, and always will. I remember nearly forty years ago, my older sister did all of her due diligence...

    2 new issues....

Could it be the Fuel pressure regulator? I think that is what I had go bad on mine. I know it was something with the fuel system. I did not have time to fix it myself, and needed my truck, so I took it in.

NEW Truck is HERE!!! (lots of peektures)

At least the lettering is not over the top ugly. Face it, there is a certain amount of advertising that needs to happen on any company vehicle. It is a very nice truck. I am curious why the crew cab? Is it one of those I am in BFE and 4 hours from home and need a place to catch some ZZZ's...

6.0 failure and new engine cost

It is to the point a cummins swap would be easier, and cheaper. Too bad it is nearly 700 miles away.

    6.7 Scorpion

I always chuckle when people say the 05-07 front ends are the nicest ones. When they were coming out, people were saying the same things that they are saying about the '11's. For what it is worth, I liked the 05 front ends from the start. I think I like the '11's, too.

Passing up on Ford b/c of body removal???

Ford actually has experience in designing diesel engines from long ago. On top of that, you never know who they have brought in to help them design the engine. At this point I am not scared of the new engine, but I will not be buying a new truck in the near future, either.

    PSD with the easy life

I will stick with a Phoenix truck. No salt, no snow, no freezing cold starts. Summers are tough, but, it just makes for a better oil viscosity at start up.

    6.7 Scorpion

It is on the list, but my highest mileage truck only has 129k miles on it. I have a long ways to go.

Like I said, I heard. I stand corrected. I custom build my trailers anyways, because mine are open.

    Question Enclosed Trailer Quality

Nearly every manufacturer has different quality levels of their trailers. Pace used to be the bomb, but, they started selling through Home Depot and such, so started selling price point trailers. I have heard good things about Haulmark. Wells Cargo used to be really good as well. If quality...

Congratulations, I am jealous, I wish we could have had 6.

    Why'd they dump it?

Part of the reason that the EPA is getting so silly with the regulations is that they are trying to mandate the trucks out of existence. If it is tougher and tougher to get big trucks that meet the guidelines, it will be less likely that they will be able to manufacture them at a sustainable...

Question Fixing the HG myself, looking for instructions

Which dealer? Was it Berge, or Earnhardt? San Tan is usually pretty good from what I have heard, I don't know about Superstition, since they changed ownership. BTW, take a look at www.azpsg.org It is a bunch of local arizona guys.

    ESOF hub part number

Look at the O-Rings first. It will be cheaper than the hubs, and will likely have to be replaced anyway.

Is this the best deal out there on Recon Lights?
